The Palomino Islands, located off the coast of Lima, stand out for their natural and historical richness. You’ll explore the enigmatic Camotal, visit the Palomino Islands, and interact with sea lions and guano birds.
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the district of La Punta in Callao, where our marine adventure begins. After a short walk to the pier, we’ll board our boat to start the journey. During the navigation, you’ll see unique rock formations, local fishermen at work, and the submerged area of El Camotal, a former neighborhood of Callao now beneath the sea. We’ll continue to San Lorenzo Island, known as the “mysterious island,” rich with stories of naval battles and pre-Inca remains, and then to El Frontón Island, once a high-security prison that holds memories of Peru’s recent history. Our route continues toward the Cavinzas Islands, home to guano birds, pelicans, and Humboldt penguins. Finally, we’ll reach the Palomino Islands, home to over 8,000 sea lions. Those who wish may swim with them using wetsuits. We’ll end our experience returning to the port and your hotel, with unforgettable memories of the Peruvian Pacific.
The tour includes pickup from your hotel, transfer to the La Punta district in Callao, the boat ride around the islands, the optional swim with sea lions, and the return transfer back to your hotel.
