Upon arrival in Lima, an AndeXperience representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel so you can settle in and begin an unforgettable afternoon.

Our City Tour starts in the afternoon and includes visits to Plaza San Martín and the impressive Gran Hotel Bolívar, icons of republican Lima. We will stroll through the historic downtown streets toward the Main Square (Plaza Mayor), where you will see the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the majestic Cathedral. We will continue to the Convent of San Francisco, famous for its baroque architecture and mysterious catacombs, and conclude at the historic Church of Santo Domingo, a site of deep spiritual and cultural significance.

Early in the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa to travel to the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. Along the way, we will pass through Andean landscapes and the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve, where you can see vicuñas and llamas in the wild.

We will stop at Patahuasi and Pampa de Tocra to enjoy nature and birdwatching. At Patapampa, the highest point, you will admire the Misti, Chachani, and Ampato volcanoes.
