Upon arrival in Lima, an AndeXperience representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel so you can settle in and begin an unforgettable afternoon.

Our City Tour starts in the afternoon and includes visits to Plaza San Martín and the impressive Gran Hotel Bolívar, icons of republican Lima. We will stroll through the historic downtown streets toward the Main Square (Plaza Mayor), where you will see the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the majestic Cathedral. We will continue to the Convent of San Francisco, famous for its baroque architecture and mysterious catacombs, and conclude at the historic Church of Santo Domingo, a site of deep spiritual and cultural significance.

After the tour, we recommend dining at one of the city’s top restaurants. Central or Maido are excellent options according to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023. Advance reservations are highly recommended.

In the morning, you will fly to Arequipa, where we will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Around midday, we will begin the tour at Carmen Alto viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the countryside and surrounding volcanoes. We will continue to Yanahuara, known for its sillar stone arches and picturesque square.

We will visit the traditional Callejón Toledo and arrive at the Main Square, where the majestic Cathedral stands. We will explore the Monastery of Santa Catalina, with its colorful cloisters, and the Church of the Company of Jesus, a jewel of mestizo baroque architecture. The tour concludes at Los Claustros, surrounded by charming cafés and artisan shops.

Early in the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa to travel to the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. Along the way, we will pass through Andean landscapes and the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve, where you can see vicuñas and llamas in the wild.

We will stop at Patahuasi and Pampa de Tocra to enjoy nature and birdwatching. At Patapampa, the highest point, you will admire the Misti, Chachani, and Ampato volcanoes.

Upon arrival in Chivay, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by free time. In the afternoon, you may relax in the La Calera hot springs, visit the Collagua Museum, explore the artisan market, or stroll through the town before resting at your hotel.

After breakfast, we will head to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint to witness the impressive flight of the Andean condor, an icon of the highlands.

We will visit the traditional villages of Maca and Yanque to observe colonial architecture, local customs, and handicrafts. After a lunch stop, we continue our journey across snow-capped mountains and the high plateau toward Puno (approximately five hours). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

In the morning, we will begin our experience on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. We will sail to the Uros Floating Islands, built from totora reeds, where you will learn about the daily life of the local inhabitants and optionally enjoy a traditional reed boat ride.

We continue to Taquile Island, famous for its well-organized community and ancestral traditions. Enjoy a moderate hike with panoramic lake views and a typical lunch prepared by a local family. Visit a UNESCO-recognized textile workshop to learn about their art and culture. Return to Puno at sunset.

Travel along the Route of the Sun toward Cusco. Our first stop is Pukará, an ancient pre-Inca ceremonial center known for its stone sculptures and traditional “little bulls,” symbols of protection.

Next, we reach La Raya, the highest point of the route, with stunning views of snow-capped mountains and grazing llamas. After a buffet lunch in Sicuani, we visit Raqchi and the Temple of Wiracocha, an important Inca ceremonial site.

Our final stop is Andahuaylillas, home to the “Sistine Chapel of America.” Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

Today you will experience the essence of Cusco by exploring its most iconic treasures. We begin at the majestic Cathedral, then continue to the mystical Temple of the Sun, Qoricancha, and later to the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, with its enigmatic megalithic structures that defy all logic.

Afterward, we will visit the archaeological sites of Qenqo and Tambomachay, ending at the “Red Fortress” of Puka Pukara.

Discover the treasures of the Sacred Valley among camelids, textiles, stunning landscapes, and travel by train to Machu Picchu town.

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin our adventure. Our first destination is the archaeological site of Pisac, famous for its impressive agricultural terraces and panoramic views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

We will then visit the Pisac artisan market, where you can purchase handicrafts made using ancestral techniques. Continuing to Urubamba, we will enjoy a delicious Andean lunch.

Later, we head to Ollantaytambo, known for its massive sacred rock and traditional town, whose streets and homes preserve original Inca architecture. From here, we will take the train to Machu Picchu town, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Your adventure begins at your hotel in Aguas Calientes. From there, we will take you to the bus station, where a 25-minute ride through the cloud forest will bring us to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

Upon arrival, we will check in and begin a guided tour lasting approximately two and a half hours. Your professional guide will reveal the secrets of this Inca sanctuary as you explore temples, terraces, and viewpoints that have stood the test of time.

After the guided tour, if time allows, you will have free time to explore on your own. Returning to Aguas Calientes, you may enjoy lunch at your leisure and relax before boarding the train to the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, we will transfer you to your hotel, concluding this unforgettable experience.

Our adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Ollantaytambo and transfer to the archaeological center of Moray, an impressive Inca agricultural complex of concentric circular terraces used to experiment with crops at different altitudes and microclimates.

Next, we will visit the picturesque town of Maras and its famous salt mines, with more than 3,000 active salt pools dating back to pre-Inca times, recognized for their unique landscape and artisanal production of Andean pink salt.

After enjoying these remarkable sites and their breathtaking views, we will continue to the city of Cusco, arriving at your hotel around midday — the perfect time to rest or explore the city at your own pace.

After days filled with discovery, we will transfer you from your hotel to Cusco Airport for your return flight. We hope this journey has been a transformative experience and a meaningful connection with the profound essence of the Andes.
