Itinerary
DAY 1
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer you to Ollantaytambo Train Station, where you will board the train to Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes). Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
After check-in, we will head to the Consettur bus station to ascend to the entrance of Machu Picchu Citadel.
Once inside, you will enjoy a guided tour lasting approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the citadel at your own pace before taking the bus back to Machu Picchu Town.
You may have lunch on your own at your hotel or at the restaurant of your choice. In the afternoon, you will have free time to stroll through the town or relax at the famous hot springs (optional and at your own expense).
DAY 2
On the second day, you'll enjoy one of the most rewarding hikes in Machu Picchu. Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and return to the Consettur bus station for another ride up to the citadel.
This time, you will enter through the designated circuit and begin the hike to Machu Picchu Mountain, the highest accessible viewpoint within the Historic Sanctuary.
The hike takes approximately 3 to 4 hours round trip, depending on your pace. From the summit, you'll be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of Machu Picchu Citadel, the surrounding valleys, and the majestic Andes Mountains.
After completing the hike, you will descend to the exit of the citadel and return to Machu Picchu Town. You will have free time for lunch before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
