Sillustani Tombs Tour
Discover the cultural and archaeological richness of the highlands by visiting the impressive Sillustani Tombs, made up of pre-Inca funerary towers called chullpas, which allow you to learn about the history of ancient civilizations and enjoy spectacular views of Lake Umayo.
Itinerary
In the afternoon, we will pick you up at your hotel in Puno and head to Sillustani. On the way, we will stop at the Puma Uta Viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of the highlands and Lake Umayo. Upon arrival at Sillustani, a professional guide will take us through the impressive chullpas, explaining their history, architecture, and cultural significance. Afterwards, you will have free time to take photos, admire the landscape, and explore local handicrafts. Finally, we return to Puno, concluding the experience at the city plaza or directly at your hotel, depending on your preference (please inform us in advance if you wish to finish the experience directly at your hotel).

Faqs
We will visit the Sillustani Tombs, pre-Inca chullpas built for ancient highland nobles, with panoramic views of Lake Umayo.
The tour lasts half a day, with hotel pickup in the afternoon and return approximately at the end of the day.
It depends on the altitude you have experienced in previous days in Peru. If you have already visited Cusco or Arequipa, it may not be necessary. However, if this is your first high-altitude destination, it is recommended to spend at least 1–2 days in Puno before the tour to avoid altitude sickness.
