Our adventure to Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain begins early in the morning with hotel pickup in Cusco. We will travel by tourist transportation to the district of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast to recharge our energy.
After breakfast, we will continue towards the Palcoyo community, the starting point of our hike. Unlike other high-altitude destinations, this walk is short and of moderate difficulty, allowing us to enjoy the scenery at a relaxed pace. Along the trail, we will admire the multicolored mountains, open valleys, and unique rock formations.
We will also visit the Stone Forest, a natural viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surrounding Andean landscape. After exploring the area and taking photographs, we will return to the transport and head back to Cusipata for a traditional lunch before returning to Cusco.
